Guidelines to Facilitate Meter Readings
To facilitate quick and easy meter readings, please follow these guidelines.
Keep shrubs and trees away from your meters. We require a minimum of 3 feet of unobstructed clearance to read meters.
If your yard is fenced, please keep an unlocked gate available to our meter readers. Failure to get actual readings will require an estimated bill. This could mean higher utility bills for you.
If you own a dog that stays outside, please keep him/her tied or kenneled during meter reading days to avoid any accidents with the meter readers.
If you feel there may be a problem with your electric or water meter, call 715-425-0906 for an appointment with one of our meter technicians to test your meter and identify any potential problems.
